MISSION STATEMENT

 Our mission at Moriah Christian Children's Home is to serve children ages 6 to 18 years old in the Jackson, Dekalb, Marshall and surrounding counties by providing a Christian nurturing and stimulating environment that will foster independence and ensure success among its residents.  Our goal is to hire experienced, qualified staff who will be well suited to work with the children who are victims of abuse and neglect in many instances.  The children will be given the love, and attention that they so deserve by a caring staff in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.  Moriah offers its residents the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities, church and leisure events and daily life skills training.  When deemed necessary, the children will attend therapeutic sessions to explore their feelings concerning the events that initially brought them to Moriah. A major goal is to provide stability in the lives of the children for long term in a safe and loving Christian home environment.
