Moriah Closet

The Moriah Closet Thrift Stores were established to raise funds to build the Moriah Home. Now that construction is complete, the profits Provide operation and maintenance funds for the home.

The Scottsboro Closet closed on March 31, 2006 due to low profits. The Dutton store will remain open.

Location:  4379 Highway 71, Dutton, AL

Open Wednesday through Saturday, 9am - 4 pm

 The store has gently used clothing for men, women and children, shoes, bags, dishes, linens, furniture, decor items, jewelry, books, toys, games, baskets, small appliances, exercise equipment, luggage and hundreds of miscellaneous items.  Moriah Closet has become known as the most reasonable priced thrift store in the area.

The store is dependent on donated goods with which we have always been blessed.  Good furniture and household items are always in demand.  Shoppers come from all over and some of the local shoppers stop in every week.  God is blessing the home through the store.

Donations:  Items that we cannot accept are mattresses, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, and any electrical appliance that does not work including TVs, microwaves, radios, stereos, and computers etc.  We have no one to make repairs to appliances or furniture that is not working or in good repair; therefore we request that these items not be donated.

Volunteer Workers:  Volunteer Workers are needed and always welcome.  If you can donate a few hours a week, or even once a month, please contact the manager of the Dutton store at 256-228-3924.
